Uploading a file?

Does anyone know if blogger allows uploading a file as in - a doc or a pdf. I tried to upload a pdf file, but it seems like other than uploading images it doesnt support uploading any other types of files. But if anyone knows how to do it, then any help is greatly appreciated.... thanks..
